I wish I knew your skin/eye and hair color - or Ethnic Background it does make a difference.


First things first a liquid foundation may not be the right Cosmetic for you.


I would opt to Mineral Makeup. There are many quality mineral make up foundations out there that are not Expensive.


Easy to apply and wont settle into your pores


Won't run off ...as a liquid would with your oily skin


They do offer great coverage even if you have to re-apply during wearing ..Your not going to have that dirty/muddy look *with liquid but a Refreshed look.


The key to mineral makeup is having the Tools to apply it. As in proper Mineral makeup brushes. The other key to getting the most out of Mineral makeup is not applying it to a squeaky clean tight just washed face.


It will will look dry and enhance your acne.

When we have Oily skin it can be of one or two reasons. We are purging oil due to the fact our skin is Moisture Starved. Or we can have Oily skin due to our chemical being.





When Skin is dehydrated of Moisture it actually Hunts the Air for Moisture. It will take in moisture within the air, including pollutants, bacteria ..You name it. Adding Moisture to the skin actually creates a barrier from such outside moisture that is a pollutant, bacteria. As well as it creates a barrier between your skin and cosmetics. We do not want our skin soaking up Cosmetics as a Moisturizer. That causes clogged pores which leads to black heads and pimples.


When skin is Moisture starved it sends the Troops to the Surface. The skin is screaming after cleansing or using a high alcohol toner .. I am starving for Moisture. So the Troops Flood the Skin with Oil for hydration. That is skin that is trying to Recoup what has been washed away during cleansing and or striped away using very astringent products upon the skin. It says I must replenish and it's way of doing that is creating mass production of Oil.


Oil is NOT a bad thing. Everyone thinks Oil is our Skin's Worst Enemy. Which is the biggest LIE of all Time.

For example women who have med-dark or darker skin are Oil producers. The darker your skin the more oil is produced. As the norm. Most women who are of darker skin tones - do not show their age. You have to guess. Why because they have oil. And oil is a good thing.


***When you have fair skin, ruddy complexion, blonde hair and are oily, you tend to have oily scalp and are prone to skin break outs. More than most of the time, your skin is sensitive and may even have allergies. Your skin is in over load of oil due to it lacking defense. The skin is trying to protect, heal and defend at the same time. And yet the fair skinned women are the first to show age even before their time - mostly due to environment and having thinner skin.
