Have you tried using mineral foundation/make-up?

if you have, what brand(s) did you try? did you like it?Have you tried using mineral foundation/make-up?
Try Glominerals...a lot of upscale spas sell them. They have great coverage in a wide range of colors that match skin tone really well, and (as an added bonus) it is considered a cosmeceutical, which means it helps to heal your skin while it is on with green tea (anti-oxidants) and zinc (UVA %26amp; UVB protection). I have tried a lot of other makeup, and this is by far the best I've ever used. It is a little pricier than some others (it's around the same as Bare Minerals), but a compact will last you 2-3 months, and they have a full range of makeup.Have you tried using mineral foundation/make-up?
I tried Bare Minerals, it doesn't work for me at all. They don't exactly have a good match for tan and olive skin, like they say they do. Plus, it stays on for all of ten minutes. I wouldn't bother with it. I'm currently using a foundation I found for $1.50, called L.A. Colors, Deep Beige. That's probably as close to my skin tone as I've ever come, and that's after trying all sorts of brands. No breakouts, no problems....it's pigment in a binder, like all the others are.

I agree with the gal above, mineral pigments have ALWAYS been in makeup. Take a look on the back of any package you have. Titanium dioxide, iron oxides, mica....they're all there. It's nothing more than a way to get uneducated consumers to buy their stuff.
bare minerals .. its great just like they show in the informercials

another brand in sheercover
I have tried Physican's Formula. I haven't tried any foundation but really like their mineral powder. It has worked pretty well with me. I like that it's cheap and can be found just about everywhere.
no but i will
I have tried the bare minerals in fairly light, I liked the way it covered but felt that it didnt stay on like it said in the comercial. If you know what color of foundation you are in the minerals I would suggest to go to the websight www.aromaleigh.com , there you can order samples of different foundations mix them yourself at a fraction of the cost(mine cost about 8 bucks) I can't remember how much the shipping and handeling was. Plus they have a chat sight to help with matching foundation.
i dont like it, it doesnt cover well. if your not looking to cover imperfections, you might like it though.
Yes I have tried it and I love it. I use Arbonne's mineral powder foundation and it is amazing. you should try it you will definatly like it
Yes, I tried Bare Escentials. I was not that impressed with it. I didn't get the coverage I expected, and I personally would not recommend it to anyone.
Yes, but I threw it out because I'm sick of everyone talking about it. People are such sheep when it comes to stuff like this, if everyone starts raving about it everyone gets the same thing.

It's a regular foundation, I personally like my Lancome Teint Ideole much better. There is nothing new about the minerals, in fact minerals have always been in a lot of foundations. It's just a marketing scam.
I have Bare Minerals (Sephora)..however, they do not work as good covering imperfection. Since they do not have a base foundation, I apply a little bit of my Lancome Foundation and finish it up w/my Bare Minerals.
