It's a little bit more than the base makeup! I found that by using a moisturizer under my makeup, (even when I was in my teens/20s/30s, now 40s), appropriate for my skin type (I was oily, now normal), my makeup went on a lot better. In the winter, I use a creamier base makeup to help my skin, and in the summer, I use a water based foundation, with a powder and a little bronzing powder, which gives me a sunkissed glow, and the powder keeps the makeup from running if I happen to sweat. Personally, I like Almay foundations, and sometimes I used Mary Kay
Well I like sephora brand. A lot of people will tell you MAC. I tried MAC, but when I took pictures, it made me look a lot lighter, almost like a ghost. I also like the Revlon Rewind or something like that, but it made me white in pics too. I tried the sephora brand and it looks natural (the liquid) and I look almost airbrushed in pics.

The liquid foundations arent really good for the skin because they keep ur skin from breathing i would suggest the dream matte mouse which is both the powder and the foundation.good luck!!!
i use perscriptives. they have ';custom blend';, they color print you and then custom make it for you. so you never go wrong.
