New job nd i can't wear make-up little foundation if ne now my ? how do i get a flawless look without it?

i love mixing my maybelline's dream matte mousse with my favorite clean %26amp; clear moisturizer...it gives a fresh, clean look without looking fake or uneven...it makes me appear air-brushed.

just mix equal parts of your preferred foundation (i'd recommend a cream foundation rather than a liquid) with a good sheer moisturizer. (i love 'morning burst' by clean %26amp; clear)

and smooth over your face. if you still don't think you're 'fresh'-faced enough, go out %26amp; buy NYC's Lengthening Mascara (only $2 or so)...it is the most natural looking mascara i've ever used. (and i've tried 20+ different mascaras, all in search of a 'natural' black lash.) it's not too heavy and it makes your lashes long and dark...perfect for daytime.

a little lip-balm and you're good to go.

(and if i may ask; what job is this? i've never heard of a job where you couldn't wear cosmetics...not that i'm contradicting you or anything, i'm just curious ;)New job nd i can't wear make-up little foundation if ne now my ? how do i get a flawless look without it?
Are you not allowed to wear any whatsoever, or do you just have to LOOK like you aren't wearing any? Have you tried any of the new powder foundations out there like Bare Escentuals? Its extremely light coverage but just enough to even things out, although you may have to try out a few brands to find one that gives you enough coverage. If you can't even wear that much, can you at least do a little concealor to even out any areas of redness or blemishes or wear some powder? What about a tinted/mattifying moisturizer so you'll still look finished without technically wearing much makeup?New job nd i can't wear make-up little foundation if ne now my ? how do i get a flawless look without it?
I'd highly advise use of a good skin care routine %26amp; not have to worry about pimples or any minor imperfections that can come up. then I'd get on some mineral foundation - not as seen on tv. they're filled with bismuth %26amp; will eventually do more harm than good. Smokymountainminerals.com may be the answer you're looking for. They've got a veil you can use %26amp; not even have to wear make-up %26amp; look good. It's white, is sold as a make up before or after product, but can be used instead.
Try coloured face primers from Bourjois. Use liquid concealer wherever needed . Follow with loose powder

Tinted lipbalm on lips and vaseline sparingly.

Or Try Mineral Foundation %26amp; mineral blush ( from Revlon). It looks natural and you have coverage for 16 hrs. Lash darkener if you are blond/redhead. If brunette , you can get away with mascara. Eyebrows groomed with brow gel.
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!
well nobody will be able to tell you are wearing it if you wear it the right way.

Best foundation/powder make up for problem skin? help!?

I have acne, and can't seem to find a good foundation that will cover it all up without looking ';cakey';. I'd like a good foundation that covers up and is not bad for my skin. I'd like something that works and will not make me break out even more.

What foundations, liquid or mineral, would you suggest for me?

also...as far as foundation or powder brushes go, which specific ones would you recommend?Best foundation/powder make up for problem skin? help!?

First off i think you should try to treat your acne before you put on the foundation. But if your not you should try to gert a foundation that is for your skin type. They have foundations for people with oily skin, dry skin.combination,etc. I would probably use the liquid or the foundation whichever one is thick enough to cover the acne. I recommend using the MAC brushes they are expensive though.
I know this sounds werid but clinique ';anti-aging'; works really good for covering up acne. i use that to cover up my acne and then i use a clinque bronzer over it.
I agree with the person above. Clinique has nice foundation.

How can you set liquid foundation with a powder finnish with out looking like u have to much make up on?

Use a powder brush instead of a puff. Also, I think that loose powder is much more natural looking than pressed powder. Pressed powder actually has wax in it (that's what keeps it together) and it can look cakey plus it isn't very good for your skin. How can you set liquid foundation with a powder finnish with out looking like u have to much make up on?
apply with a wet sponge to get a sheer coverage. Pat powder over. Best to avoid this altogether, use concealer where you need it only. How can you set liquid foundation with a powder finnish with out looking like u have to much make up on?
use a sheer powder, such as bare essentials. It works pretty great, just bought some myself.
In my youth I took a short term modeling class that included how to correctly apply makeup. After you put on the powder, take a soft tissue and gently and lightly wipe your face with it (don't use a lot of pressure). This will remove the excess powder and leave your makeup looking softer.
    Put a little bit...

I suck at putting make up on actually.. stick with natural beauty is the best.
bare essentuals. ID. no need for liquid. find it and get a makeup lesson. you'll love it!!!
maybe put it on a spounge or put it on lighter
I love to set my foundation with MAC Fix+, it is a spray for 15.00 but it dries quickly and really make it look flawless. I was skeptical at first but now I am a slave to the Fix+
Use a light layer of foundation and corn starch is good for setting makeup without a heavy looking powder finish.
The best way is to use a brush so you can control it with just a light dusting. Not a pressed powder.
only apply in places where your skin is red or shiny.
    go easy on the powder
right when you put foundation and powder on, you should take a piece of toilet paper and dab your face. dont rub it, dab it, so all the makeup doesnt come off. what this does is that it sets your make up in a liilte and then later on in the day if your sweat, you wont have making dripping down your face, and it wont make your skin oily. i hope i helped! good lucK!
Apply liquid foundation lightly over face. Sprinkle a little powder in your lid, then use a large make up brush in the lid. This way you can avoid getting too much powder. Lightly brush on your powder, making sure your T-zone isn't shiney. This will then set your make up! Good Luck.
I am a male but I do drag on Halloween (sure to get alot of thumbs down for that).

Anyway, I bought liquid foundation to match my skin tone. I put on two coats of that, all over my face, neck, and top of my chest. You will probably only need one coat if you are a female.

Next, I bought a powder that is a shade lighter than my skin tone and put that all over my face, neck, upper chest. Only do this once or else it looks really fake. Also, try not to go too light or else you will look like a porcelain doll or a geisha.

Next, I use a blush on my cheeks. This takes the longest, because I want to had reddened cheeks but not too red. It has to blend in.

After that, I do my eyes.

After my eyes, I get dressed, then put on the wig. If I am driving in drag, I wear sneakers than change into my heels once I am about to enter where ever I am going.
my mom sells mary kay and they have a great creme-to-powder foundation. its goes on creamy and dries to a matte/powder finish. you can find it on marykay.com
Let the liquid foundation dry a little bit and then set it with powder by using a brush to apply it.

If you use a pad it'll just smear it everywhere. Swirl it in the powder and just apply.

Dumb Question: Can you tell me about make-up? Like what is Powder, Concealer, and Foundation?

I wanna use powder but do you have to use concealer or foundation with or before it?

Whats the difference between powder, concealer, and foundation anyways. What order do you put it on?Dumb Question: Can you tell me about make-up? Like what is Powder, Concealer, and Foundation?
concealer, foundation, powder is the correct order :)

    concealer brightens and covers imperfections

    foundation smooths and evens out

powder makes it all look naturalDumb Question: Can you tell me about make-up? Like what is Powder, Concealer, and Foundation?
Concealer does what it sounds like. Conceals, or hides your imperfections, like blemishes, dark circles, evens out your skin tone, etc.

Foundation can be used all over the face in place of a concealer if you don't have that many imperfections you need to 'conceal'. It's great for evening out your skin tone as well. Foundation however, comes in different forms. You can get a liquid foundation, or a powder foundation, which is the powder you were probably talking about. BUT, sometimes powder doesn't necessarily mean foundation. Blush usually comes in a powdered form, as well as bronzer. Blush makes your cheeks nice and rosy, bronzer can be used all over the face for a more tan look.

Personally, I don't like putting any product on my face without primer first. You don't have to do this but it's what I like to do. Primer just 'primes' your face giving it a nice base coat for whatever make-up you're putting on. It usually comes in a liquid/cream form.

What you should do is put concealer on first, and then foundation whether it's in powder form or liquid form, it doesn't matter. Follow that with a little blush or bronzer, and you're golden =) !
what i usuallly do is put on concealer, then foundation, then powder...

foundations is used to cover uneven spots and sometimes has coverage too

powder is used to set your makeup soo it stays in place

concealer is used to conceal acne, undereye cicrles, wrinkes, ect

you can use powder foundation i use mac mineralize skin finish you can use this as a foundation if your looking for medium coverage and to make your skin look good.
    Concealer goes on first

it hides blemishes and lightens your face. it should be used sparingily only if you have dark circles around your eyes, acne or anything else you want to hide

foundation is next. it is used only to even out your skin. only for that reason. do not use it as a cover up. this is a common mistake most girls make. dot the foundation all around your face before blending it into your skin becasue it makes for a more even layer.

Powder is used to hide any spots on your face that oily/ shiny or any last min cover up. but you should not cover your entire face with it.
It looks ALOT better with foundation and concealer under the powder.

Without it, the powder wont give hardly any coverage and will fade.

What you do is spread foundation evenly over your face, then put some concealer on the blemishes or under-eye circles and dab it in (dont rub it in because it will just rub it off)

Then use powder over it for full coverage=)
this is my way on how to put it on

    1. concealer- under eyes and to cover up zits, pimples, blemishes etc.

    2. foundation- all over face down to neck (so it doesn't look like u have mask on)

    3. powder- to set foundation(so it stays longer in your face and gives it a natrual sheen)

that is my way on what i do to put it on and of cource before everything you should wash your face and apply moisterizer hope this helped bye
Concealer: Comes in flesh tones to conceal acne, green to reduce redness, yellow to camouflage under eye circles or bruises. Usually in a stick form. Only get it if you have discoloration issues that foundation alone can't help. Ex. My nose gets red, but my foundation covers it, so I don't need a green concealer.

Powder: Usually shear and used to absorb oils. If you don't have bad acne marks or severe discoloration, it is perfectly fine to use this alone. Usually won't cover acne marks at all, so if you have some of those, get concealer as well (unless your acne on your forehead or in your hairline and your hair covers it, like me.)

Foundation: Can come in many different forms (liquid, mineral, cream, spray, powder, ect...). Foundation is good for an overall balance of skin color as long as it's not bad.

My suggestion to you: Physicians Formula Powder Palette Multi-Colored Face Powder in Highlighter.

    Link: http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>

Works as a two in one (or six in one). Colors:

Yellow to reduce awkward purple tones on the skin.

    Green to reduce redness.

Flesh tone to do a simple overall evening of color.

    Pink to add brightness.

Purple to cancel out any awkward yellow tones.

White to act as a translucent powder to simply absorb oil.
I think the other answerers explained enough already.

As for powder, I would suggest using only powder if your skin is great to begin with. If not, powder is only going to look cakey and unnatural and it's not really going to do much.
powder is another form of foundation actually. the main difference is one is liquid and one is not but foundations give your skin and even tone and conceler is just for concealing things lol like zits or scars or birth marks
Powder is dry, concealor is used for small flaws and foundation is liquid. You dont have to put it in order, i always use just one. Put concealer then foundation then powder.
Of course u can just use powder :]

as for the order of things that u would apply first ; i usuallly conceal, than use foundation and top it off with my powder..

if u want to see how other put of makeup you should search it on youtube :]
yeah cover up all the dark areas with the concealer or the imperfections like around the nose the redness pimple marks all the imperfections than foundation n last translucent or loose powder all over to really finish the look...hope i helped

    Foundation Help? (Make-up)?

Hi guys. Wondered if anyone could tell me a great foundation to use. I would like to try a powder as liquid and mousse never looks natural on me. I have olive skin and brown eyes. I'm not asking for a particular shade, just a brand. Are mineral powders any good?

Oh yeah, and it has to be affordable (the good side of a tenner preferably - I am a student) also, available to buy in the UK.

I ask a lot don't I? Maybe so, but I will reward best answer if you can tell me why a certain brand is good.

Thanks in advance girlies!Foundation Help? (Make-up)?
I love mineral foundations. Just wander into boots or superdrug and try the samples there, Most seem pretty good. The thing about powder is that the coverage is pretty light, but you can layer it up if you need to.

My only problem is I'm very pale, and nearly all of them only come in shades of brown/orange so they just look like dirt on me. But you should be able to find a good one pretty easily with olivey skin.

Most of the main brands seem pretty decent, though some are rather more expensive than others., but they're all pretty similar. Its mostly colour for me. I can't give too much of a recommendation, cause I haven't tried most of them, and I order mine from America :)

But superdrug have student discount, and I think boots do too?Foundation Help? (Make-up)?
