ok that new make up fondation make up the one that knows ur tone of skin and supposed to match you tone and blend in with your skin if you do not know what your tone is how can u find out what kind you need? i never wore make up and i am 24 years old and i kinda just to try to wear some but i dont know where to start or how to put it on or what kind to get so could any women or girls help me please thanksFoundation (make up question)?
Try a dap of the sampler on the inside of your wrist if your face is not tanned, if its tanned then the back of you hand. Blend it well. Don't put the sampler on your face as you don't know whose germs are in the sampler.
Or go to a department store counter and have a professional makeup artist do your makeup and show you how to apply and choose it.
I agree with the first poster. Don't wear makeup if you have clear skin. Makeup will cause wrinkles and age your skin faster than you can imagine.Foundation (make up question)?
if you go to any makeup company's website (maybelline, covergirl, etc.) they will have a color-matching tool in which you answer questions about your skin tone, hair color, eye color, etc., and they tell you which colors will look best. they websites also have tips for applying the makeup. covergirl's website is my favorite.
Mineral make up is the way to go. Try Jane Iredale or Glow minerals. They are not like traditional make up that contains talc and all kinds of nasty chemicals and preservitives. They are made of crushed rocks, they cannot clog pores, they cannot harbor any bacteria. They contain an spf on 20 and will help to prevent wrinkles. They are truly amazing products! They cost a little more, but they last forever! Don't buy online your first time, go to a retailer to color match you first!
I have really good skin, so I don't need much to cover it. I love mineral powder foundation cuz it looks really natural, and covers any imperfections. I really like the new one from Jane, but don't use the little sponge thing that comes on it. I always take the top off and dip my brush into the powder - make sure you tap off the excess before you put it on. Another thing I like about the mineral powder is that it really doesn't clog your pores or mess up your skin. I always use moisturizer first cuz sometimes if my skin's a little dry the powder will not go on totally even. But other than that, I love the stuff!
this won't answer your question, but first off, don't wear foundation if u have clear skin
Go to a Department store where they sell makeup and have a professional try on different powders on you. Then you will know what color you need. Good luck. There are allot of them out there. And start with power not foundation.
Ok, well I dunno much about that new stuff. I'm a skeptic myself. But really finding your color of foundation is easy. Go to the store and look at all the foundation choices. Hold them up to your skin tone. If there is a mirror then hold it up to your face. Get the color that is the closest to your skin tone. Then always get a powder to set your foundation. Get the powder one shade lighter than your foundation. Foundations can look a touch darker when they set, so its good to have a powder slightly lighter to even it out with your skin. After that you may want to get some blush. A warm blush lightly applied to the apple of your cheeks, down your nose and your jaw line adds a warm natural even glow to your face. If your going for a natural make up look thats what I suggest. If you want to get into eyeshadows and stuff my advice would be play with colors. Find some colors that you like and experiment with them.

Buying guide for Foundation

Sephora! I swear it's the answer to everything. You should go to sephora [hopefully there's one by you]. There's one line they sell: Bare Minerals. Let the employees show you what's best for you. The foundation is amazing. And PLEASE dont make the mistake of settling for the cheapest foundation you can find at walmart or something. I know it's convenient but the good stuff is expensive for a reason.
Go into a department store where they sell the products and ask one of the shop assistants to help you. They're usually trained make up artists and will be able to help you with what colour, weight etc you will need. You probably only need a really light weight foundation... but talk to the person in the shop. If that fails, see if you can hire a makeup artist to go to a shop with you and give you a bit of a makeover... that will help boost your confidence about wearing make up!
