Well I use estee-lauder and they have very good foundation!
It hides my pimple well and it stays on longer.
My pimples don't really show up it's practically impossible to tell they are there!
And to tell your skin color you need to see if the foundation blends in with your skin so mix it around when you place it on your skin but if you can see it standing out like its possibly tanner the foundation is not your color.Start out lighter first.

Although regular drug-store make-up is expensive enough (cover girl, almay, rimmel) if you want as good as you can get coverage...I'd suggests investing in a more reputable (more expensive) brand. MAC is awesome!! I love their Studio Fix makeup. It's hard to match your skin color though if you have to buy it online.

ohhh my favorite! :) ok so 1st u should see wat ur skin tone is. u can do that by looking at cvs's color wheel thing where the makeup product is. Then go online and take a test 2 see which suites u better liquid or powder, it also depends on ur skin type. I suggest maybeline do not get nyc. in it its cheap materials plz dont or else ull pay alot of $$$$$$$$$$$ 4 the dermatoligst so best of luck! :)
the matte mousse foundation. i've always had bad skin as a teen and that was the only thing that worked. its very light and airy with the really good coverage affect. I loved it

if you have bad skin maybe its best if you go to the doctors get some cream and some tablets.
