I've heard that powder protects your face from dirty particles in the air. But I've also heard that powder dries up your skin and can lead to wrinkles. I don't really know about liquid foundation.Does face make up like foundation stuff mess up your face in the long run?

It does, but it depends, what kind of make-up you wear. Like the best make up to wear is Natural Mineral Make up, which is powder and not liquid. Personally, I use Bare escentuals. That make up is so natural that you can sleep with it on your face. And when you wake up the next day, your face even feels smoother.
You have to read the ingredents before you buy it. If it says anything about oil do not buy it. The safest thing to do is use mineral makeup.
