I don't know how to apply it! I wanna go for a smokey punkish gothy look. And how do you make it last? I have oily skin. And the pencil eyeliner smudges down within 4 hours... HELPHow to apply makeup from foundation to whatever the last step to applying make up is??
Your skin has to be well primed to accept the makeup and be able to bond to it.
1) Wash your face. Using cold water, use a gentle cleanser. Tone and moisturize.
2) Apply foundation. Oily skin tends to look better with powder foundations, especially since powder helps absorb some of the oil. Other foundations like liquid tend to give you an oilier look. Powder foundation is best applied with a soft bristled, wide, circular brush such as a kabuki.
3) Prime your eyelids. You can use commercial primers, but you can also substitute natural things such as aloe vera. Be forewarned that for certain skin types, this may not work. It does not work for me, but others rave about how well this lets their eyeshadow last.
4) Apply eyeshadow. I'm as far as you can get from the smokey punkish goth look, so I'll leave the eyeshadow up to you. If you want dramatic colour, though, and strong pigmentation, wet your eyeshadow brush before putting any powder on the brush. It grabs more colour and helps the pigment stay on your skin. Using a wet brush is my foolproof method for keeping normally creasing eyeshadow on my oily eyelids.
5) Line your eyes. If pencil eyeliner isn't doing it for you, look into other eyeliner methods. I prefer liquid - it's strong, dramatic, and long lasting. However, using liquid eyeshadow requires a very steady and practiced hand, so if you fail the first, second, third... tenth, twentieth time, don't worry. You will get the hang of it. You can also use gel or powder liners.
6) Curl eyelashes and add mascara. How to apply makeup from foundation to whatever the last step to applying make up is??
bare minerals makeup is the best. you ought to try it.
first aply mositerizer for oily skin. then put on foundation for oily skin with a makeup sponge all over your face. get translusent powder and aply all over face with a brush, including eyes. get a primer color for you eyes (like a light brown) aply over entire eye up to the brow. then put on waterproff eyeliner. smudge with black shadow and a thin brush. aply waterproff mascara. easy as that! = ) if your looking for a punkish look it wont mater if its smudgie, in fact it will look better that way. %26lt;3Q
