A lot of white shade foundations turn orange when applied. You need to find a good foundation that does not turn orange, try Maybelline's dream matte mousse foundation. It easily smoothes on and covers up any areas you don't want to be noticeable, you could add a powder foundation on top to add extra security when wanting to cover up blemishes. You could use a liquid foundation as a base and once dried use a power foundation on top. Mainly it depends on your skin and what type of pimples they are. Hope i helped, good luck :) x
Don't use the powder and liquid foundation together. I'd go with the powder if I were you, and then put your cover up over it.

But first, you need to get a different shade. If it's orange or too dark, then you have completely the wrong shade for your skin tone. A makeup counter in your mall can find a shade that's right for you.

Then use a very small amount, so it's not too heavy and caked on looking.

I hope I helped!
ehhm.. It's not the best idea to buy foundation for somebody who is not with you when you buy it.

The shade has to match your skin colour otherwise you will either look liek a ghost (shade is too light) or weird because it's the wrong understone (e.g. yellow rather than pink) or stupid because the shade is simply too dark.

Go with your mum and choose a shade together. :)
well, i think that she may have gotten the wrong colour- like too dark. that is what i have found.

If that is not so, maybe it is a bad brand

If it is not that, perhaps u put on too much or ur skin isnt moisturised properly. well, hope i helped, one of those answers must be right

LOL

best of luck
I am guessing that she did not buy the right shade for you, because it should not be turning orange. Go to a local make-up artists/cosmetician and they will do a swatch on your face and find the right foundation shade for you.
