How do I make my cover-up or foundation mix in with the rest of my face??

I always get like a ';frame'; around my face where it can TOTALLY tell that i'm wearing it, i just wanna cover-up some blemishes but theres like different shades everywhere. How do I make my cover-up or foundation mix in with the rest of my face??
Your cover-up is green? The type that's supposed to camouflage redness? Try using a little dab of moisturiser in the palm of your hand and mixing a dot of the green cover-up into it very well. Then put it wherever you need to hide a spot and smooth the edges in really well. The moisturiser keeps it from being so harshly bright green, but it'll still cover the redness and spots.

If you're using flesh-toned cover-up or foundation, too, you might need a different colour. It shouldn't make a 'frame', if it's the correct colour for your skintone. Try going one shade lighter, perhaps? How do I make my cover-up or foundation mix in with the rest of my face??
you should take a little triangle sponge, wet it a little bit and than apply the foundation and smudge with it. voila! like a second skin :-)
if you have line or frame then you the foundation is to dark.

go to a department store to the estee lauder counter, they will match you up with a perfect color. ask for a sample tell them you want to try it under your normal daily uses with your other makeup. take the sample and go to wal-mart and find a match in a less expensive brand.
Baby girl you need to get some foundation that matches your skin color and tone. You must be using the wrong colors! Sometimes you have to adjust because your skin might be darker in the summer time. I would definately have to say that the easiest thing for you to do, to be able to get the right shade for your skintone, is to go get a makeover. Go to the makeup counter at Dillards (or anywhere else you may shop at that gives free makeovers) and then purchase whatever foundation they are using on you. As far as concealor goes it's best to get a shade one or to shades lighter than your foundation to cover up dark circles under your eyes, but if you are trying to cover up acne i would suggest getting a concealor the same color as your foundation, so it will blend in. And try putting your concealor on first. Hope this helps.
You can't really do ';spot'; cover-ups with foundation, where you just put makeup over the blemishes. you have to put one shade on all over your face and then you MUST make sure it is your skin color or as close as possible!!!!

A decent colored blush helps too, something that is barely noticiable.

Try neutrogena, or clinique.

Go to clinique.com for more insight.

hope this helps
